Thomas L. Connelly
President and CEO
Tom was appointed President and CEO of Gama Aviation LLC in 2013. Tom started his career in aviation in 1978 in the Commercial Customer Service department of Sikorsky aircraft. From 1982 to 1989 Tom was the Manager of Aircraft Maintenance for a CT based corporate flight department that operated a large group of corporate helicopters and fixed wing Jet aircraft. In 1989 Tom joined what is now Gama Aviation LLC, (formerly Flight Services Group and Gama Charters Inc, respectively) as the Director of Maintenance and has held a number of positions of increased responsibility in the organization up through Executive Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services. In 2012 Tom was appointed as President and in late 2013 as President and CEO of Gama Aviation LLC. Tom is a past member of the Board of Governors of the NBAA Certified Aviation Manager program as well as holding that designation himself. Tom is a long time member of The Wings Cub. Tom has a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and holds Airframe and Powerplant licenses and a private pilot certificate.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Through his thirty years of representing international and national clientele, John established a highly successful aviation law group at the firm to address such clientele's needs for expert representation in this area. Today, the growing aviation law group actively represents national and international individuals and companies owning, operating and financing aircraft registered in the United States, Bermuda, and Europe. The department represents major worldwide aircraft charter and management companies and aircraft brokerage companies in their overall business operations in the United States.
Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Gama Aviation, Greg served as a General Partner in The Investors Collaborative, a Boston-based venture capital group. As a trusted leader, he formally advised several technology startup companies, and mentored young entrepreneurs on the challenges in starting a technology business. Fell is a graduate of Michigan State University, and spent several years on staff in the College of Engineering as a Senior Research Programmer, and Instructor. Fell is active in the CIO community, and is frequently quoted in books and periodicals for his knowledge of implementing ERP projects, and general IT leadership strategies. He is the current Chairman of the Fairfield Westchester Society of Information Managers, a former Board Member with Junior Achievement, and has mentored high school students through the First Tee Program.
Senior Vice President Finance Administration
Sheryl joined Gama Aviation in May 2014. Prior to joining Gama Sheryl held various roles in finance for JetBlue Airways, Affinion Group and People’s United Bank. While at Affinion Group Sheryl lived in the United Kingdom for three years to develop consolidated financial reporting and analysis for the European and Nordic operations. Her experience includes all areas of finance including financial planning & analysis, revenue accounting, financial reporting and internal auditing. Sheryl has also led system implementations and process improvements. Sheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairfield University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Senior Vice President Aircraft Management
KC heads up a team responsible for all client activities including Client Relations, Aircraft Management Sales and Charter Services. With nearly 20 years of aviation experience, he is keenly aware that the needs of every client are different and his focus is to ensure that Gama continues to tailor individual programs to meet those needs. He has implemented processes within all departments to maintain accountability when an aircraft joins the Gama fleet and to ensure that every box on each checklist is completed. The process continues from there to ensure that Gama maintains the level of service that each client expects and deserves.
Executive VP, Regulatory Affairs
Charlie joined Gama Aviation, LLC in August of 2014 and became Gama's Chief Pilot during February of 2015. Charlie brings to Gama over 30 years of FAR Part 135 experience including 25 years as a Check Airman, Chief Pilot and Director of Operations at 2 other air carriers. He has accumulated over 15,000 hours of accident and incident free flight time and holds 6 aircraft type ratings. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Executive DirectorsMartin FarrarSenior Vice President of Airworthiness, 135 Director of MaintenanceMartin graduated East Coast Aero Tech in Boston. He has attended the University's of Edith Cowan in Western Australia and the University of South Australia in part time studies for Business. He is a licensed A&P mechanic & private pilot. He has been employed with the company since October 2001. He started as Regional Director of Maintenance (RDM), then RDM & Chief Inspector. In 2005 he moved full time to Chief Inspector & Manager of Quality Assurance. He moved here from Australia where he held the position of Chief Inspector for an FAR 145 repair station.Gary GmoserDirector of SafetyGary is a multiple type rated ATP and CFII/MEI with a 37-year background in Transport Operations Management, the previous 17 years devoted specifically to Part 135 flight activities. Prior to joining Gama Aviation Signature, Gary was an Assistant Chief Pilot at CitationAir. He is responsible for our Safety Management System, Aviation Safety Action Program, ISO Compliance, Safety Training, Internal Audit Program, and Operational Risk Assessment. He holds a Certificate of Management in Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle University and continues to fly as a FAA approved Check Airman.Robert KreppeinVice President & Chief PilotBob currently serves as a Vice President and Chief Pilot for Wheels Up where he has primary oversight for the Wheels Up Up program. Previously, he served Gama as the Wheels Up King Air 350 Fleet Manager, and also the Lead Captain for a Gama managed Gulfstream G200. He is Dual Qualified in many fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Bob attained his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Marist College in 1998 and his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Maine at Orono in 1987.
